  1. Wow they’ve seen the last of my money. Any establishment that won’t support an armed Police Officer. To hell with the bunch I don’t care if they are a Florida Based Company! That’s just WRONG!

  2. We decided on eating at road house. To kick a police officer out of your establishment says all I need to hear. The men in blue are dying almost every day protecting those who you wait on. I will tell everyone in know to avoid outback and their affiliates. Let me know how things turn out when you are robbed at gunpoint point.

  4. There are two Outbacks near me, and neither has any sign notifying customers they are “weapons” free. I carry there all the time. I always check. But I guess the kicker is that if I am carrying concealed, they wouldn’t have any idea anyway. But I always check for signs, and in some cases, even call ahead. I am sure our Outbacks in the Philly Burbs do not have any notifications regarding firearms.

  5. My wife and I are regulars at Outback and Carrabas. As an exec at a Fortune 10 company, I also use them regularly for company functions and vendor lunches. That all ends today now that I know they are anti-Second Amendment.

  6. Unfortunately, I received a 50 dollar gift certificate to be used at one of any of these corporate restaurants here in Florida.
Since the money is spent and in the hands of the restaurant corporation, I see no point in destroying it even though I will not patronize any of this corporations restaurants. I shall return it to the person who presented it with an explanation of why I choose not to dine there and with the hope that they can get their money returned.

    • Here’s another idea. Go find a couple of really dirty winos sleeping in some alley and give it to them. Then call management and tell them about the guests they will be seeing later that evening.

  7. Well I really like the bloomin onions there but I will no longer eat at any of their restaurants. Its just too dangerous to eat there now that all criminals know they can rob the place easily. Its time all of us started talking with our money and taking a stand.

  8. Well, now I am glad that Outback closed their restaurant in Yuma, AZ, after knowing that they do not allow firearms in their locations.

  12. Outback Steakhouse today asked a uniformed officer that was taking his dinner break to leave for having his gun with him. This was in Cleveland, TN my hometown. Now according to the officer, the manager stated that Outback is a gun free zone. I have been to this outback many times and there is only a small about 3″x6″ wooden sign there, which is not in compliance with Tennessee state law, which would only apply to concealed carry permits anyway. So far this has been shared over a thousand times and hope it is shared a hundred thousand more. I will not be back there till we get a satisfactory response from corporate.

    • He was asked to leave because a woman in the restaurant seared for her a life because police officers are shooting people everywhere This is the dumb asses that cause issues for everyone I will post the officers statement

    • Well we had a first tonight…. while I was at work tonight (in uniform) I stopped by Outback Steakhouse to eat supper with my wife. I was approached by the manager and asked if I would put my gun in my truck. I let her know that I couldn’t because I was in uniform. She then went and made a call and came back and we were asked to leave because Outback is a gun free zone.
Note: I don’t blame the manager… but this is ridiculous and we will never go back there ever again.

What is this country coming to? A uniformed Law Enforcement Officer who is sworn to protect and serve the public, is refused service because they have a firearm! I am disgusted and have no other words!!!

Outback has contacted us and has apologized for the incident. There was another customer that was “scared for her life” who was seated across from us. This customer also stated that she was afraid because “police are shooting people” and this customer went on to demand to be escorted to her vehicle out of fear of being shot. Again I don’t blame the manager in this situation.
Folks we need to turn our attention to people like this who try and push their agenda on all those around them. When an entire restaurant full of other happy people were completely fine with my presence. As a country we need to stand up for each other as so many who have shared this post have done. I am truly humbled by the support we received.

Thanks for your service to your community, state, and country and know that there are a lot more of us standing with your than against you.

Screw our corrupted gov’t, our very president is the biggest law breaker in history, a muslim loving sympathizer, and im being nice. Who is any man to tell me, especialy gov’t or a locale cop to take away my rights or harrass me
for wearing a weapon or gun for protection when the cop himself is wearing a gun for protection ??? God forbid is all I can say.
P.S: Kentucky born and raised…..I go to the restroom with my gunand I shower with my 40 cal. semi-auto pistol and it goes to church with me to. A little paranoia I believe can go along way. What kind of man would I be if I couldn’t protect my family……
    Oh yea almost forgot…..Im a 255 lb bodybuilder/ powerlifter.

  21. I’ll not eat in an establishment where I think others have concealed weapons. I have been in two restaurant shootings in the past 50 years and both were places that didn’t ban guns.Unless you are in the company of an informed militia, keep your guns in a lockbox, preferably in a closet in your home or your place of business.

    • All of us legal gun owners and legal conceal carry holders wish you a very safe life and we pray that your words will keep all criminals from carrying guns..

      Reply

    • Were the people doing the shooting in those two incidents licensed carry holders or were they the criminals? You make it sound as if the lack of a no-buns policy made the places into wild-west shooting galleries.

      Reply

    • You’ve been in two shootings? I can almost believe one, but two? Truth or troll? Of course the shooters were CCW carriers instead of criminals.

  24. A CC owner will typically disregard those ridiculous signs anyway. All the management can do is request that you leave….As long as you leave there is nothing you can be charged with. Hopefully if you’re carrying you are being discrete about it.

    Reply

    • This is not true in every state. In some states a posted sign has the power of law. Which means that if you carry onto the premises you are in violation of the law just as you would be if you walked into a courthouse or other prohibited location.

      Reply

      • Out of sight is out of mind and free from prosecution, If I don’t need to use it, no one will ever see it If I do, I don’t care about your silly rule. In the 19 years I have had a CCF permit I’ve never drawn my weapon and hopefully never will.

  25. why would you need to bring a gun to a restaurant in the first place?

    Reply

    • For the same reason we would want to bear arms any other place. To protect ourselves.

      Reply

    • @Megan — I know, right! I mean, it’s not like there has ever been a shooting at a restaurant in America before, so why would anyone want the ability to defend themselves from something that could never happen? ;-\

      Reply

    • ASK all the dead that question the the Lubys(Lubbuck I think) that finally got right to carry in Texas

      Reply

    • Why? To protect myself against the possibility of being robbed of course. Apparently, you have your head buried in the sand and aren’t aware that there are people out there who wish to take advantage of people who are unable to defend themselves. If I were a robber, I would definitely choose a “gun free” zone over an establishment where I would fear of return fire from an armed citizen. Do you anti-gunners ever stop to realize that we go through extensive background checks by the FBI that says we have no criminal records? How many stores get robbed by a person that has a permit to carry?

      Reply

      • I forgot to add that I obtained my license at the local police station. How many criminals are going to walk into a police station and request a permit to carry?

You are the type of tired old bim that gets pissy when your man carries into a movie theater then is freaked out by some negroes on the way to the car two weeks later. Then you are pissed because he stopped carrying because of YOU. Let the adults deal with crime. Just let go pretend you are edgy with your bad tats and your toe ring.
