Their “Code of Conduct” prohibits all weapons, including firearms, regardless of whether an individual possesses a state-issued concealed handgun permit. This policy applies to all Macerich Malls.
Below is a “Code of Conduct” provided to us by management of one of their malls called Tyson’s Corner Center located in an affluent Northern Virginia suburb of Washington DC. Rule #2 applies to weapons, or potential weapons.
Code of Conduct – Tyson’s
Coincidentally, a Kay Jewelers (also on our boycott list for banning guns) located in Tyson’s Corner Center has recently been the victim of a “smash and grab” robbery during business hours. The brazen act was captured on video by an employee. According to reports, a similar robbery happened at a Kay Jeweler at another mall a few miles away. A gun-free store within a gun-free mall should be perfectly safe according to the logic of anti-gun fools. Obviously, reality doesn’t always live up to their naive hopes. The thugs that robbed Kay Jewelers completely disregarded the mall’s no weapons policy because they knew a weapon would be required to get the job done. Stay away from gun free zones like Macerich Malls for your own safety.

Four dead in a shooting tonight at Cascade Mall in Burlington, WA – a Macerich property. Shooter still on the loose. Well done, Macerich.
I had to leave my vehicle across the street at Discount tire for 2 hours and was going to do some shopping at Superstition springs center. I found the policy prohibited firearms. This policy excluded me from shopping as I have a concealed carry permit and was armed. It is not people like me that you will have problems with, but instead will be the criminals that will not obey your policy. You are loosing good business due to this policy and I will never shop in your mall as long as this policy is in effect.
