The Second Amendment Check Boycott List

All companies we boycott have received a 2ACheck rating of “F” for their lack of respect for the rights of gun owners.  Your experience with some of these companies will vary based on location, however, the boycott is based on the corporate policy toward responsible gun owners.

We believe guns in the hands of good people make everyone safer.  We encourage freedom loving Americans to boycott anti-gun companies until they improve their policy.  Please share this page.

We also strongly recommend everyone know the firearms laws applicable in their own state, and states they travel through.  We recommend something like the Traveler’s Guide to Firearms Laws.

Print this image and post it publicly for all to see, take it with you, give it to friends, etc.

 Boycott List 2014.09.22

**Feb 28, 2018** Add DICK’S SPORTING GOODS to the list of businesses supporters of The Second Amendment should never patronize again.  They were given a second chance after their hints at stopping rifle sales after the Newtown, CT shooting in 2012.  With today’s announcement, they are dead to us….FOREVER.

We are attempting to provide detailed rationale for the entries on this list.  Some, but not all have been provided.  We are working to get the rest updated ASAP.  Click on the name of a company below to learn valuable information about the company, its policy and other brands under the same corporate umbrella.

We provide you with contact information for every company on the list. We encourage you to contact them for the following reasons:

1) Verify for yourself that we have accurately described their behavior

2) Inform the company that they have lost your business

3) Encourage them to change their policy to be more respectful of the rights of gun owners if they want to earn your business.  Our long-term goal should be to try to influence them to respect our rights.  Never be rude.  Always be polite.

Just stay away and take your business elsewhere. That is why I quit Costco and went to Sam’s Club.

      Reply

    • That is not what private property means. The owners have the right to decide whether they want guns allowed on their property or not.

      Reply

      • Actually via Federal Statute all non-governmental mandated gun-free zones are illegal. Just look at 18 USC 241.

        Reply

        • So I should be able to take a gun into a bank (by your standard of this definition) but if I do, I will be arrested. Interesting. Banks are not governmental, they are regulated but owned by a business.

          Reply

          • The Federal Statute (18 USC 241) is there, however currently, no one has taken a gun-free zone business (such as Costco, Simon Malls, or Regal Cinemas as examples) to court for being in violation of statute.

Concerning banks, I’ve OC’d into both Wells Fargo & Chase with limited issues (A Chase branch where a local Credit Union was robbed at gunpoint & the branch staff distrusted anyone carrying).

          • I carry in my bank all the time. You can carry in any business with signs prohibiting it. They have to catch YOU and ask YOU to leave, at which point laws governing private property come into effect. The signs have no legal standing, so you can’t be arrested for carrying, just trespassing, and that’s if you don’t leave when asked to. Schools, airports, and courthouses are a different matter.

    • I also was stopped and told I could not carry at Disney Springs because it was private property. Even the Sheriff’s Dept cannot carry in plain cloths. It’s a gun free zone but there’s no signage anyware…The security dog ratted .Me out. Picked up the nitro smell I guess…..no problem. Put my Glock in the trunk and returned.

There are so many banks and other financial institutions missing it’s amazing. Lately Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and First National Bank of Omaha have come out with anti-gun policies or did things like stopped advertising on Laura Ingraham’s Fox news show ( David Hogg thing ) and also look at Allstate Insurance did the same.. So you can add some Insurance companies to the list. Please update this site, there are so many more to add now in the last few weeks. I realize it’s hard to keep up lately but please try. Thanks!!

You don’t seem very intelligent, or you are ill-informed, not sure which. It is a known fact that psycho shooters gravitate to “gun free zones”, since there is nobody there to shoot back. The horrendous theater killing in Colorado, years back had a “no guns allowed” sign posted, which is why the shooter chose that theater. You need to wake up and start thinking about what happens in the real world.

    • Actually Jesus told his disciples go and buy a sword, selling their coats if they have to Luke 22:36. Now the context is that a mob is getting ready to come arrest Jesus so he armed his disciples to keep them from being murdered by the mob.

      Reply

      • That is not the context at all. The mob was not interested in the disciples. The context was for the future. There was persecution to come as they grew the Church and spread the Gospel. Therefore, the disciples needed to be prepared.
It is important to take into consideration what was said in verse 35, and ask why that preceded the instructions given in verse 36.
In verse 35, Jesus asks the disciples about the previous time He sent them out to preach. He instructed them to go with nothing but the clothes on their back because everything they needed would be provided. This is an important contrast to the instructions given in verse 36. Why? Those that opposed Jesus believed His teachings would be forgotten and the threat of Christianity would be no more. Jesus knew that once He was gone from this earth, those who opposed Him would be angry and hostile towards those who continued His work. Therefore, the context of verse 36 was not about the mob in the garden, but rather instructions for the disciples to be prepared for the future because they would not receive the care from others they did before and instead suffer persecution.

      Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
…35Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out without purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered. 36“Now, however, He told them, “the one with a purse should take it, and likewise a bag; and the one without a sword should sell his cloak and buy one. 37For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment.”…

  13. Businesses are private property. They can choose to allow guns or not, just like some businesses don’t allow pets or require shirts/shoes. If you don’t like their policies, don’t go there. It’s that simple. I have a well trained dog I take everywhere. I avoid places where he is not allowed. I don’t whine like a little baby when a store bars him. Geez guys. Grow a pair.

    Reply

    • Sure …. don’t go there. Isn’t that part of the definition of a boycott? Isn’t that what this website is calling for? I don’t see anyone whining. I see people taking organized action to convince these businesses to change their minds.

I notice Waffle House on the list. Shootings and armed robberis at Waffle House restaurants have become depressingly common even before the Nashville incident and another good reason to avoid these places besides disagreeing with their gun policies is that mass shooters and also ordinary criminals prefer gun free zones where they don’t have to worry about people shooting back. Just about a week before the Nashville shooting, somebody apparently ignored the Waffle House policy in New Orleans. did shoot at armed robber who was robbing the Waffle House and threatening the customers with a firearm. A few years ago a retired fireman also ignored the policy and shot and killed an armed robber in Spartanburg SC. The Waffle House policy is endangering its customers and it is totally ignorant. Hopefully some of the victims in Nashville will sue them into bankruptcy because they have had plenty of time and prior bad experience to learn that their policy was inviting the criminal element to attack their customers.

I lost a good friend of mine thanks to her ex boyfriend showing up with a fucking gun and shooting her with it then blowing his own brain out his ears. Which he had no earthly right to that gun because of a PPO against him from my now dead friend. He stole a rental from a firing range to kill someone because she didn’t have a ‘right’ to be happy without his psycho ass in his twisted opinion. BTW the friend I lost WORKED at a Jo Anns in Lansing when she died. So maybe the reason you people with your deadly security blankets are unwelcome in these stores is someone who shouldn’t have a gun is trying to attack someone who works there.

I don’t tell you what to do, who to pray to, when to keep your mouth shut or how many cats you can own, so don’t try to tell someone else whether or not they have the right own a gun. • I knew it wouldn’t take long for you to start adding profanity laced replies. Is that your own step away from morality, because your ire is now raised? If you don’t want a firearm, don’t own one. If you would rather not have one available for self defense, don’t. If you don’t hunt, then you don’t need one. I don’t feel morally superior to you, why do you feel morally superior to me, because I believe in the 2A and choose to own a firearm? It’s a tool and 99.9% of them aren’t used in the scary fashion you profess. More people die each day as a result of texting and driving. Do you have a smart phone and have you ever texted or looked at your phone in the car? Should I accuse you of encouraging traffic deaths? If I hate phones and you love them, and use them lawfully and responsibly, should my position on that be enough to deny you the privilege to use a phone? Would you like the morality police to kick in your door and forceably take your device, because some snot nosed kid can’t use theirs responsibly? My guess is no, because you’re probably a law abiding user. Stop blaming these tragic events on an inanimate object.

I’m a law abiding, licensed concealed carry gun owner. I train, I’m former military, I’m a Christian and I raised my children to know right from wrong and to respect the law and others. They also train with and respect firearms. My rights don’t surpass yours and yours don’t surpass mine. Stop infringing on the Constitutional rights of others, because you disagree. If you want to vocalize, do so without insulting, but do so with facts, not hyperbole. When you and your Snowflake Army can get the 2A repealed, then you have accomplished your goal of disarming US citizens and can shout from your morally superior mountaintop. Until then, please stop trolling law abiding citizens with your anti gun hatred. What do you expect the responses will be when you do that? From a 2A supporting position, I can tell you that any attempt by the government to repeal the 2A and confiscate firearms would result in a very unfortunate civil war. There
currently is approximately one gun for every citizen in the USA. That doesn’t include flame throwers! Snowflakes beware… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

          • thanks for the education. keep YOUR 2nd Amendment since you clearly OWN the rights and privileges therein….when I start seeing a self-induced un-regulated militia……I will call the REAL mMILITIA….THEY will take your gun away……….NOT ME……try that as an educational fine point….. • I will call you an authoritarian. Because while you don’t care for any of the things on your cursory list, over 100,000,000 American citizens do. And we won’t allow your linear thinking to interferer with our rights. That is why we have guns.

        • hey Patrick…..what rights do you have that supersede someone else’s right to live? Are guns a man’s replacement for what is supposed to make them a man?

          Reply

        • You are right sir. I hope that my rights are strictly reserved to whatever limits that don’t infringe on that of others which are more defensible than mine.

          • Super Christian words from you Terry. Condemning others for insisting on their right to self defense. Yes, the 2nd does indeed superseded the right to life of anybody trying to harm others. Youre a demon worshiper, not a Christian. We used to burn insane heretics like youe

          • Are you kidding me? You harpoon the woman for her beliefs, then turn around and want to “burn her at the stake.” And once again, please, spare me the garbage comments. She likes cats, is a older woman. Please. I’m a member for a long time, but when is enough, before you speak out? Not everyone who disagrees is a communist, atheist, moron, well you get the point. But of course, a bunch of people will insult, threaten, assume and I assure you, I’m a fellow member, but don’t we.agree we all have the right to disagree? Some of you don’t and I’m tired of seeing no one say anything when people act like asshats. Can’t you just let it go? Enough already.

          • thanks and have a super day, harold.

          • O ye perverse generation ,how long shall we suffer thee? By the way …learn how to spell my name if you don’t mind…….Thanks a bunch…..I have a box of matches to lend you ….but if you play with fire ….you might get burned yourself…..and as far as to whether I am insane or not would require far more than your opinion to make that stick far beyond a disagreement on the meaning of the 2nd Amendment sir!

          • Show me proof of your allegations that I am indeed a demon worshipper or an insane heretic, aside from the fact that I disagree with you ,please,Mr. Smith. Show me where Christ advocated weapons of war for self-protection.I will wait.

          • Wow, are you still trolling this forum, Snowflake? Try these Bible verses on for size: [Psalm 144:1] Of David. “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;” Or how about this: “He said to them, ‘But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.’” [Luke 22:36] Or perhaps this: “If a thief is found breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him, but if the sun has risen on him, there shall be bloodguilt for him. He shall surely pay. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.” [Exodus 22:2-3] There are plenty more! How about these: “Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.” [Exodus 21:24-25] and this important one: “If a thief is found breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him,” [Exodus 22:2]. Still not convinced? I’ll leave you with these last two – favorites of mine – and then you can go pound sand. “So Moses spoke to the people, saying, ‘Arm men from among you for the war, that they may go against Midian to execute the Lord’s vengeance on Midian.’” [Numbers 31:3] and finally, “The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is his name.” [Exodus 15:3]. Now get lost. I’m sure there’s a fluffy cat forum out there where you can hang out with like-minded dolts, like yourself.

We would not have a country if it were not for guns. We would be England or France. The gun is the sole reason we have this country. The people armed themselves and stood up for what we believe. That is the reason the gun was so important to our founding fathers. And forever will be the most important right we have. If you feel safe with out a gun than you are truly misguided. The gun is what seperates usfrom the rest of the world. The gun is the sole reason our country has not been invaded since 1812 the second time we beat the British. No other country in the world can say that.

Thank you for the list of anti gun companies so I plan to write each a letter like the Parkland school kids or CNN did.

    Reply

    • They will just shred your letters or hit the delete button these companies are cowards and the only way to gain an edge is not to do any business with them and their affiliates. Keep America strong.

  22. please add r.e.i. to the list…
    see:
what they did to vista outdoor and are outwardly politicizing their company against 2A.
    ALSO:
a company from europe since 1972 DECATHALON has put stores in U.S. and is putting more.
one is smack dab in the center of san francisco, ca. and has section full of hunting gear, is fully in support of firearms, and is only not carrying ammo due to 2018 stupid ammo bill passed requiring it be locked up, sealed in package etc.
they WANTED to carry it and looked hard at it, still may upon high demand.
when i was there (in s.f.), i talked directly to the store manager who told me this and is definitely fully supporting firearms…
check out their prices too ;-) )~
let them know you are shopping/buying there due to their support/ideology(s)…
request they carry guns and ammo!!!…talk to the store managers directly…

Hey, bob, did you only read the title?
Were you too triggered to read the article you hastily formed an opinion on the contents of?

    The article states:
“We can’t offer any technical or legal advice regarding converting your firearm to fully automatic. We believe that the Second Amendment guarantees our right to fully automatic firearms, but the law of the land right now doesn’t protect that right.

We encourage you to do lots of legal and technical research prior to embarking on any modifications that could destroy an otherwise functional firearm, cause injury to you or others, or possibly result in legal trouble. For you.”

PS have you ever heard of Stephen Willeford and what he did with an AR-15?!

  27. Yes this is a website to take seriously. It also teaches you how to break the law and convert your gun to full auto (extra killing power! not legal! but who cares as long as it’s on a website for the “good guys with guns!”): http://www.2acheck.com/converting-to-full-auto/

I will now proceed to take very seriously your concerns about your constitutional rights. please go on…

    Reply

    • Boycott REI because all the people who shop there are communist faggots and the whole store is a rip off. REI is like Whole Foods

      Reply

      • Waffles House got held up due to the fact that they advertise that they are gun free, so that means no-one inside carries and anyone can hold them up without any problems. They have that right to do so, or you can conceal and carry and not tell anyone for your protection. This is wrong but at least you feel secure.
